Introduction!

Hi everyone, My name is Raeanna Perez but my friends and family call me Rae. I am 18 years old and am an Arizona native. You can usually find me with my best friend Maddie eating, shopping or on a road trip. I have known Maddie for my whole life! My uncle married her aunt before we were born and we share cousins so whether we like it or not, we will always be connected. Being spontaneous is one of my favorite things about our friendship.

Two weeks ago we went to Sedona and went on a Pink Jeep tour, It was such an amazing experience. We took the Scenic Rim tour and hiked to the top of a mountain. As we were getting ready to head home we made the decision to get matching tattoos.

My biggest pet peeve is when people crack their necks however, one of my biggest passions is helping children in third world countries. Twice a year I go pack food for Feed My starving Children, which is a non-profit christian organization that provides nutritious food for children around the world in need. I also go on mission trips to the Dominican Republic and run programs for children in a small town called El Catey.

Above is a picture taken from my first ever trip to the Dominican Republic. While in the Dominican, we handed out care packages to teen moms, sang songs, had teachings and played games with the children of El Catey. Being selfless and putting the needs of others above your own by serving them is so rewarding. If you are interested, I definitely encourage to look into organizations that have missions trips. Showering the kids with love for a week was a memory I will always cherish.
I plan to go on many more missions trips to wherever I am needed! Next year I plan on attending The University of Arizona and eventually major in Pre-law. Some of my main overall goals are to become a travel, become a lawyer and then later down the road start a family.

I look forward to this semester and getting know you all!
