Entry # 9: LANY

 Music plays such a vitial role in our lives. It affects our emotions, moods and daily lives. If you love listening and discovering new music, this blog is for you. Last year I stummbled across a band called Lany. Lany is an American band from Los Angeles, California. The members of this band are lead singer Paul klein, drummer Jake Goss and guitarist Charles Leslie 'Les' Priest. Lany can be classified as many different genres such as Indie pop, Synth-Pop, Electropop with an R&B influence.

Lany is an acronym for 'Los Angeles New York' and the trio band started in 2014. The band has released two albums and their lasted 'Malibu Nights' was released on last month. 'Thru These Tears' is  the second most popular song on their Malibu Nights album. The reason so many people love Lany, myself included is because they are so different from any other band out there. The sound of their songs are so unique but their lyrics are so relatable. 

This December I am going to my first Lany concery here in Arizona and next June I am going to their show in LA which I am super excited for! If you need a new band to listen to I highly recommend giving them a listen. I do not believe you will be disappointed!
